In the collaborative spirit of Wikis, we are pooling our collective knowledge of the states to create a states' database. The database will show which states our students and parents have traveled to and will have a collection of interesting facts about the states and what makes them unique. Do you think that collectively, the class has been in all 50 states? Please make sure you have actually traveled through the state or have spent time there (touching down at an airport doesn't count!).
To join in the fun, just click on All Pages on the left, then click on the page that has the state you want. You must then click on Edit on the upper right hand side in order to be able to type your information into the chart. Please hit return when you reach the end of a column since the Wiki would not allow the text to "wrap." If the Comments section is full you can add your comments to the discussion page by clicking on the tab with the speech bubbles and clicking on New Post after you have saved. When you have entered your information, don't forget to click on Save! It is on the far right of the menu on top.
Students, please make sure you do this together with a parent and remember this is a Wiki and whatever you write will be seen by everyone who goes on it.
